Jaimie Davis

I am a freelance photographer and digital technician. I love photographing details and still lifes, but I occasionally include an odd human or two in my pictures. (I tend to prefer more spontaneous and unconventional portraiture.) I grew up drawing and painting as a part-time hobby, but as soon as I picked up a camera I was hooked on photography. That probably explains why I tend to add artistic and alternative effects to my photographs via Photoshop or mixed media. I also prefer to photograph in a more clean, simplistic style.

I hope you enjoy this informal collection of mostly personal projects...things that caught my eye as I was passing by. I am also beginning several commercially-marketable works, but I do not have a finished sample to display yet.

What it comes down to is this: I'm happiest when I'm creating. However, I do enjoy a little relaxation time every now and then. Who doesn't, right? : )
